Number the Stars by Lois Lowry is the book I chose for my book talk. I really enjoyed this book. If you are
a reader and are looking for a book that has action, suspense, friendship, and love this book has it all. Ten-year-old
Annemarie Johansen and her best friend Ellen Rosen are slammed in the middle of the war in 1943. The Nazis come down
hard on the Jews of the area and Annemarie Johansen goes the extra mile to help protect her Jewish friend Ellen Rosen from
harm. Annemarie is put to the test when it is up to her to save the secret mission by delivering a special package.
This book is a must read.
